This workshop addresses two important components identified by the National Reading Panel as needed for effective reading instruction -- Reading Rate (Fluency) and Reading Comprehension. Workshop materials include manuals for Rite Flight: A Classroom Reading Rate Program and Rite Flight: A Classroom Comprehension Program. Rite Flight is a supplemental intervention that can be used to enhance comprehension and Fluency instruction.

Educators who are responsible for administering tests and performance measures and/or using the results to identify students with dyslexia characteristic and recommend placement. The training is based upon the laws, procedures and guidelines governing Arkansas public schools.
This workshop is a 2-day training in how to administers and interpret level 2 assessments in Reading. (GORT-5, CTOPP-2, TWS-2, TOWRE-2, WRMT-III, KTEA-2). Educators who are responsible for administering tests and performance measures and/or using the results to identify students with dyslexia characteristic and recommend placement. The training is based upon the laws, procedures and guidelines governing Arkansas public schools. Individuals must hold a master’s degree in education or related to assessment.
